Vibration Analysis Category III is an advanced course for experienced analysts who wish to develop expert-level knowledge in machinery diagnostics, signal processing and program development. The course emphasises complex problem solving and the design of vibration-based maintenance programs.
Course Content
In line with ISO 18436‑2 Category III guidelines, the training covers:
Advanced signal analysis techniques, including phase, orbit and coherence analysis
Rotor dynamics, modal analysis and resonance troubleshooting
Condition assessment of bearings, gears, motors and rotating equipment
Diagnosing complex fault conditions and root cause analysis
Designing vibration monitoring programs, database setup and alarm strategies
Case studies and mentoring for advanced diagnostics
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for senior vibration analysts, reliability engineers and consultants who have completed Category II or have substantial field experience. Participants should be comfortable interpreting vibration spectra and recommending corrective actions.
Certification
Delegates who successfully pass the examination will receive Category III vibration analysis attendance certificate. The course combines lectures with hands‑on workshops to reinforce practical skills.
